Chic New Colorways of On's 'Max-Cushioned' Cloudmonster Dropped, Including a Limited Edition Style (2025)

The brand’s “Cloud” running shoes are super popular for being super comfortable and stylish. The On Cloudmonster is the very definition of an ultra-plush sneaker. It truly is an icon among the icons — and it just dropped in several new colors, including a limited-edition, member’s only style.

To start, you can’t go wrong with the classic On Cloudmonster. As one reviewer wrote, “Super cushioned and bouncy! The Cloudmonster delivers a smooth, comfortable ride with great energy return. Perfect for long runs.” Other shoppers raved over it’s “walking on clouds” feel, as well as its stylish look.

Recently, On dropped new colors of the Cloudmonster, ranging from minimalist-chic to bold and bright for the season. We’re absolutely loving the clean look of the Frost/Wash combo above, though the fun pops of color in the Silvery/Ivory colorway below make it a really close second. You can purchase the new colorways an On’s site, Nordstrom, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Free People, and Anthropologie, among others. Some colors are popular and selling fast. So, don’t hesitate if you find one that you really love.

If you love the look of the On Cloudmonster but want to take your runs to the next level, you may want to the check out the On Cloudmonster 2. Per its description, this version comes with “more cushioning, more propulsion, and added energy return,” for runs (and walks!) that no other shoe can provide. In fact, the Cloudmonster 2 is said to feature the brand’s biggest CloudTec cushioning ever, so you can pretty much expect a crazy amount of cushioning and comfort.

As it turns out, shoppers adore this version the Cloudmonster as well. One wrote, “I’m a teacher and I go to the gym nearly everyday, reaching 15k+ steps a day. Let me tell you, this shoe is the shoe to have. These shoes are amazing. They provide so much support, traction, and comfortability. I also have flat feet, which cause my knees to hurt when wearing most shoes but not these! HIGHLY recommend!”

Last but not least is the On Cloudmonster Void atmos in Midnight/Blossom. Now this is an extra special shoe that’s limited edition and available On community members (which is free to sign up for, BTW). The Cloudmonster Voic atmos features the same level of plush cushioning you’d come to expect from the shoes in their line, but with a design that was made in collaboration with Japanese streetwear icon, atmos.

What makes it really cool is its Yozakura-inspired palette, which is basically the look of cherry blossom trees at night. So pretty! The shoe is selling fast, so be sure to snag your pair while you still can. Once again, these are limited-edition and there’s a likely chance these won’t restock once they’re completely sold out.
